Getting close

It’s getting near to going.

A frantic few weeks, my original plans had been, a week in Washington DC with what were called the “alphabet agencies”  i.e. FBI,FEMA Then off to the NPS in Flagstaff Arizona for 6 weeks with them at the sar academy. All going well until budget cut meant that the course was cancelled, invite to attend at a later stage which I still may but PANIC !!!!!!

Fortunately another Churchill Fellow, Helen came to my rescue with recent contacts that she had from Canada and Missing people in Washington DC.

A few trans-Atlantic calls, emails and to be honest a better looking, as far as original objectives were concerned trip is forming.

At the moment it looks like a week in Washington DC, an epic drive to Regina Saskatchewan, for nearly 3 weeks, down to Indiana to a Search and Rescue academy, back to Virginia for a SAR academy at Georgetown, a meeting with FEMA in Richmond, a flight   to Phoenix AZ, to the Arizona SAR conference.
